If you enjoy ALL that an Okanagan winter has to offer, then you will enjoy the 1st Annual Snowshoe Shuffle Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Nordic Cross Country Ski Club. We are inviting families, elite athletes, seniors and everyone in between to take part… this event has something for everyone. Tour the well marked snowshoe trails while scavenging for nature’s treasures. Once you’ve completed the first 2km loop the second loop is for fitness… crawl, walk or run… but it’s gotta get done! The perfect combination of exercise, fresh air, friends and fun. We look forward to seeing you there!

- What to bring…
- Digital Camera with USB cable
- Pen or Pencil for checklist
- Snowshoes… if you don’t have them, we rent them for $15/day… best to reserve in advance 250-979-4327
- Appropriate outerwear… base layer with a softshell or hardshell, toque & light gloves
- Appropriate footwear… hiking boot with gators or insulated winter boot

You may want to allow people to pickup their event package until just before 1000, since most people don’t get up to the ski area until just before 1000.
Rick, I understand your concern, however the event begins at 10AM… we need to have EVERYONE processed before that time.
